PBA criticises Pemra’s action

KARACHI: Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) on Monday passed a unanimous resolution, condemning the ‘unlawful action’ of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) in suspending the licence of ARY News.In a press statement issued, the PBA also deplored a heavy fine handed down to ARY. The PBA also demanded immediate restoration of ARY News and withdrawal of illegal Pemra’s orders.It noted
