QUETTA: The Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) on Tuesday staged a protest demonstration outside the Press Club against the murder of their colleague, Mumtaz Alam, who was killed in Besima and life threats to senior journalist Imtiaz Alam.
The protesting journalists, who were carrying placards and banners, chanted slogans in support of their demands.
They demanded immediate arrest of the killers of Mumtaz Alam, condemned life threats to Imtiaz Alam and attack on anchorperson Raza Rumi.
BUJ President Irfan Saeed, General Secretary Irshad Mastao, SAFMA Balochistan President Shehzada Zulfiqar and Press Club President Razaur Rehman addressed the protesters.
