Islamabad: Pakistan\nMuslim League-N Senator Musaddik Malik got embroiled into a controversy after\nhe said on national television that a certain journalist \u201cshould be set on\nfire\u201d for not being respectful enough towards victims of the PIA plane crash\ntragedy. \u201cThis Tahir [the journalist] sahib, I don\u2019t know who he is. Is he the\nhead of some organisation? He came on television and said that our\ninternational image is being destroyed [by the revelation of deep-rooted issues\nin PIA],\u201d the senator said in a video clip which has now gone viral on social\nmedia. \u201cWe should throw such an international image into the fire and we should\nset fire to Tahir sahib who came [on TV] and said something like this and made\na mockery of all of us,\u201d an enraged Malik could be heard saying. \u201cOur plane\ncrashed, should we not conduct an investigation and if there is a failure\nshould we not go after whoever failed? Should we not do a root cause analysis?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
