Lahore, June 6: A British-Pakistani commentator was briefly \u2018abducted\u2019 in Lahore, the capital city of Punjab province of Pakistan<\/p>\n

Gul Bukhari, a contributing writer of Daily The Nation, Lahore, was intercepted by some unidentified persons in Cantonment area of Lahore, while she was on her way to appear in a TV show of Waqt News Channel, Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

However, she returned home safely early Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

Bukhari, 52, is known for her criticism of Pakistani security agencies.<\/p>\n

Her husband Ali Nadir said in a WhatsApp message: \u201cShe left around 10:40 for Waqt News but was apparently picked up on the way. It seems to be plain clothes people but we don\u2019t have any more info.\u201d<\/p>\n
