This\u00a0 report is\u00a0 part of an ongoing\u00a0 project to monitor\u00a0 various\u00a0 types\u00a0 of conflicts as covered by select samples of media\u00a0 in Pakistan, including newspapers and TV channels.<\/p>\n

In this\u00a0 report,\u00a0 the\u00a0 focus\u00a0 is\u00a0 on Afghan conflict and related issues\u00a0 as reported by\u00a0 Pakistani\u00a0 media.\u00a0 The\u00a0 report contains\u00a0 in depth content analysis of news coverage\u00a0 of Afghan conflict and related issues\u00a0 in three newspapers and three TV news channels, over the period of five months v i.e. from May1, 2012 to August 31, 2012.<\/p>\n

The report has been prepared by Intermedia Pakistan, a Pakistani media development organization focusing on advocacy, research and training on media issues.<\/p>\n
