Jamshed Baghwan and his wife were leaving their home in the Murshidabad neighborhood in Peshawar on July 2, 2014, when they saw unidentified assailants on motorcycles placing a bomb outside their house, The Express Tribune reported. Baghwan is the Peshawar bureau chief of Express News, a TV channel owned by Express Media Group.<\/p>\n

The assailants fled the scene. Baghwan and his wife rushed back into their home shortly before the explosion occurred, according to local reports. The explosion damaged the windows and exterior of Baghwan\u2019s home and car. No one was injured, reports said.<\/p>\n

Baghwan said he had not received any threats recently, according to the Tribune. Authorities launched an investigation into the attack.<\/p>\n

Baghwan\u2019s home was also attacked in March and April 2014. No group immediately claimed responsibility for any of the attacks, according to the Pakistan-based Freedom Network, a local media watchdog group.<\/p>\n
