Two journalists gunned down in Karachi

KARACHI: Two journalists of a local weekly were killed Saturday in a targeted attack, newspaper reports said.

The Nation said men on a motorbike sprayed bullets on Syed Tariq Hussain and Aslam Raja near Saifi College and fled. Police arrived at the scene and rushed the journalists to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival.

The paper reported 20 people killed across the volatile southern port city Saturday where such killings have become routine.

On October 22, unidentified gunmen shot dead Raza Sahil, a reporter with a local newspaper in the limits of Baghdadi Police Station.
