CPNE condemns attack on newspaper office

KARACHI: Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) has condemned attack on Balochistan newspaper daily Tawar’s bureau office in Karachi. Office bearers of CPNE said in a statement issued on Saturday that some unknown persons attacked on newspaper’s office who not only took away costly office equipment but also set on fire its record. Safety, first-aid training in PPF

Karachi: Pakistan Press Foundation (PPF) started a ‘Safety and first-aid’ training course for its staff members here on Tuesday evening. The training course was aimed to enable the trainees to give first-aid to an injured in case of emergency. The proper use of the first-aid kit was also included in the training course, moderated by Dur-e-Shahwar, FOE Coordinator of PPF.
