ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has so far imposed a total of Rs35 million fine on different private television channels for airing obscene or excessive foreign content and illegal and misleading advertisements since July, 2010. The Pemra charged Rs1 million fine from over 20 television channels during the last over three years. “Pemra took cognisance where violations
